I don’t think that’s necessary. As I understand it, after the success of the first one, J. K. had enough clout to dictate terms for the subsequent books, and she said “no changes”.

**Chronos** : I think I noticed some spelling changes. There’s probably nothing in the UK versions that are changed in the U.S. versions aside from that, but what the hell? I’ll have a set of books with the U.K. hardcovers and a set of the Scholastic paperbacks. Who knows? Maybe I’ll have a kid some day. [sub]Yeah, right! Who am I trying to kid?[/sub]
