The game could be improved with some additions from the Blood Bowl handbook.
That last part sounds really dirty.
Anyway, it’s worth noting Krum is only 18, so evidently Seeking can be mastered at a relatively early age. There’s isn’t a lot to it except good eyesight (or glasses) and quick reflexes. Since the game requires no strategy or strength there’s no reason you couldn’t be an amazing Seeker pretty young.
One reason the snitch is worth so much is so that teams will have a seeker in the first place.
As far as I know, the seeker isn’t prohibited from scoring a goal with the quaffle. So, if the value of the snitch is diminished to zero or 15 points, as some have suggested, it would make more strategic sense to play with four chasers and no seeker.
