> I just came across this on a reread and I have a question. I understand how with the death of Harry Potter, Voldemort becomes a vanilla scum. What I don’t understand is how that makes him the most expendable. Wouldn’t it make him just as expendable as any other vanilla scum? Or do you know something about the scum team makeup that you’re not telling?

Well, at the very least, tied for most expendable, unless there’s some Scum role that’s handicapped in some way (which is uncommon). It’s my impression that around here, games structured around some canon generally have all of the Scum roles distinct, with (say) one Godfather, one Scum Roleblocker, one Scum Investigator, and one vanilla Scum. And I’m pretty sure that all of the games **Mahaloth** has moderated have had diverse Scum teams.

> It also means that we can and should suspect people who voted for Red – if this was a calculated gambit from the scum, I’m willing to bet that one of those weaselly little bastards really IS Fenrir and lent his PM to Red. Probably they altered it a bit since Red looked like Luna, though.

I’m not sure what of value we can get from this. Is there someone in this game named Fenrir Greyback? Maybe, but it’s not like we’re going to get a counterclaim on that one. Did **Red** copy his role PM from a member of his team who’s the real Fenrir? No, because the role PM **Red** posted is for a third-party role, not a Scum. If there really is a Fenrir in this game, and he’s really a Scum, then the real role PM he got must have been substantially different from the one **Red** posted, at which point I don’t see how it matters that the name is the same.
On another note, let me just say that I really don’t like dead players substituting back into a game, since it just confuses things for everyone.
