The rumor about Christopher Lowell is that he’s not remotely as nellie when he’s off camera but girls it up for his persona. No idea if it’s true or not. Similar to an episode of _Ugly Betty_ in which Suzuki St. Pierre, a bitchy flamingly gay gossip columnist who was a recurring character, was outed as a suburb husband and soccer dad who only did the gay act because that’s what got him hired and was being blackmailed by an actor he’d hired to play his boyfriend.
