The goose kind of has the same rights as a small child. If a small child were to get into your car would you take it home? No, you would remove the child and make sure it got back to it’s family. If you were to mistakenly take a small child home that got into your car would you feed it snacks so it would hang around? No, you would return the stowaway child. Same with the goose. So to answer the OP, yes the asian tenant broke the law. Probably fattening it up like Hansel and Greta. 🙂 ---

I was an EMT with a volunteer ambulance service on the California desert that New Year’s Eve when the call came for an emergency run. My partner Ally and I rolled the ambulance from the car barn and rushed through the nearest lit intersection… where a Canada goose huddled. Its head turned to watch as we drove past. If it hadn’t been a Code 3 call, we’d have stopped and captured the bird. Would that have been a crime in 1978? Goosey was gone when we returned. Ally was disappointed - we’d talked of roasting. For a humane execution, we planned an overdose of sedatives. But no such luck. Maybe it climbed into another vehicle and shit all over. I’ve since lived near goose-infested parks. Vile, despicable places, they are. Hazardous waste sites. But does the EPA care? Ha. ---

If a Game and Wildlife officer found you driving around with one in your vehicle I don’t believe that an arguement that he willingly got in your car would hold up. ---
