# Has any killer ever plea bargained FOR the Death Penalty?

I thought, as does **UselessGit** , that Wisconsin does not have the death penalty.

Court TV’s website doesn’t have any mention about the DP in regards to Dahmer, and I’m going off decades old memory, so I could be wrong.

Not quite the same thing as what the OP is asking for, but I remember [Westley Allan Dodd](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Westley_Allan_Dodd) waiving all of his appeals and refusing to contest the sentence of capital punishment. I was across the river in the Portland, Oregon area when this happened, so I remember the news coverage quite well.
