# Has anyone bought flaxseed oil online

Good question. I buy a lot of stuff from VitaminShoppe online, but if I want something like you mentioned, I’d be more likely to get it at a drugstore or Trader Joe’s or someplace similar.
I also grind flaxseed after buying it in bulk so I can put it in smoothies and cottage cheese.
Mind if I ask what you are using it for?

I’m trying to get my EFAs since I dont eat fish.

How much fat do you get from your powder, is 1 tbsp of powder the same as 1 tbsp of seed? What is the density of flaxseed (tablespoons per pound or something like that) Can a regular coffee grinder work for this kind of thing?

Well, I hadn’t really looked into those numbers…The bag just says that 1/4 cup seeds is 10 grams of fat (good fat, I would think).
Yes, I put my blender on Grind and make the fine powder.
It’s part of the Perricone program–a sort of hunter-gatherer eating regimen that calls for quite a bit of fish, but you can substitute chicken, turkey, or Canadian bacon, and other items.
