Hi, I’m trying to find some links for people who have built their house (private residence) inside a mountain, cave, or completely underground. I know I’ve seen “partially” underground homes, but I’m looking for examples (links) of completely underground, in a cave, or in a mountain. Thanks Gus ---

The town of [Coober Pedy](http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&rls=com.microsoft:en-US&resnum=0&q=Coober+Pedy&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi), in South Australia, is mostly underground but all of the houses were dug out of the ground. I seem to recall that there is some region in Spain where the homes are caves that have been inhabited for centuries, if not longer. ---

I was recently in the Canary Islands. They have a lot of cave houses there. Haven’t got a link for you though. ---

I do sort of wonder about electricity and cable. If it has cable it should have high speed low lat internet access. ---

This is a really neat article about a Chinese man and his wife that lived in a cave for 50 years, he carved 6,000 stairs up a mountain so she could get to the cave.
