Has anyone experience with a hermaphrodite cat?

Around here, most cats are spayed/neutered when they reach 3 pounds. And that’s basically the point where they are robust enough that the anesthesia isn’t very risky. I once had a kitten who needed to be circumcised, and he was a lot smaller than that, but since they had to anesthetize him anyway, they neutered him at the same time.

I gather there are regional differences in the age when vets do that.

Anyway, your kitty is gorgeous, and looks sweet. May you have many happy years together.

Indeed they are adorably cute!

Concur on both.

I had some friends (they moved away and have since exited this business) who bred pedigreed cats, and they had an intersex cat born in their cattery. They determined that he was male, and because his testes did not descend, neutering him was not an option if he wanted to have a long, healthy life.
