Has anyone had allergen immunotherapy (allergy shots?)

Yeah, loratdine (a.k.a. “Claritin”) is pretty mediocre as an allergy treatment, but allergy shots improved my allergies sufficiently that most days it’s all I need. I like not feeling drowsy AND not being all allergic.

Also, the FAA permits me to fly while taking loratidine. It does not permit flying while using almost anything else, including Zyrtec.

It should be noted that Broomstick is training to be a pilot (I think!) and that tidbit does not apply to the rest of us who simply are passengers :stuck_out_tongue:

Actually, I’ve been a licensed pilot for quite a few years now… but yes, that is an important clarification.
