He was some kind of technical or scientific something or other, I was Religious Studies. ---

Well, at least you’ve stopped stalking the poor bloke with these distractions. I mean, damned- just because some poster leave a goodbye post doesn’t mean it becomes a case of “Bad things musta happened” if not. ---
