On the floor, around where you normally put them. Hopefully not stepped on like mine were. Using those pliers was not that easy, and it messed up my vision for a day, having the lenses set different. ---

Supernatural forces absconded with them, obviously. Usually, once they’ve had enough of laughing at you, the supernatural forces will replace the glasses. And because you’ll always find them in a spot that you’re sure you’ve checked a hundred times, you’ll know for certain it was a supernatural event, instead of a symptom of your own absentmindedness. ---

I have spare sets in each car plus an old pair hidden in a vase in the house. Plus I have ‘computer’ glasses at home and work. If I can’t find my normal glasses, I know where I can find a spare pair. ---
