Do you need your glasses for close up or for distance? What was the last thing you did where you needed your glasses? Is there any paper or something you put down recently? Look under it. Then check in the mailbox, then the kitchen sink, then the freezer. ---

Feel the pain. I’ve long since passed the threshold that without my glasses I couldn’t find my glasses. Now with my reading glasses I can’t find my distance glasses. Was thinking of having some sort of key-ring remote attached to the glasses until kids told me that my biggest “has anyone seen” problem was finding my keys. ---

They’re under the fridge. At least, that’s where my lovely machined-stainless-steel folding corkscrew turned up after about a three-hour search. There is no plausible theory whatsoever for how this could possibly have happened. The only reason I even looked under there was that after checking all likely places and progressing to less likely ones I had already checked the freezer, the sock drawer, the washing machine, and inside the oven, and was running out of places to look. I blame a dog with a sadistic sense of practical jokery. ---

Last time mine went missing it was three days before I found them… hanging off a jumper(sweater) I’d put away in the wardrobe. The time before that they were on the shelf I’m supposed to put them on where, of course, I’d already looked I don’t know how many times. ---
