Alcohol is good for falling to sleep for a few hours, and then you wake up and can’t go back to sleep. So you take two Benadryl (or two gulps of zzzQuil) and hope for the best (both only last four hours and the alcohol should have lasted four hours too. So you get 8 hours). The instant they changed the Nyquil’s sleep ingredient (diphenhydramine) to the unisom one, it didn’t work for me anymore. So the zzzQuil is great. ---

My mom told me that one of the women in her AA group (this was years ago) was told by her sponsor that her sobriety date was wrong - she was taking Nyquil for a few years while in the program. She had to change it and not use Nyquil due to its alcohol content. Sorry for not double quoting - I should have made this one and the one above it one post.
