He was one of our tribal elders but I see he hasn’t posted since November.

I enjoyed his posts: does anyone here have some interaction with him to let me know if he is okay?

According to his profile, his last log in was 01-20-2012 05:19 PM, so it hasn’t been that long.

It’s beyond my pay grade but I am sure someone can create a service for this and / or any message board / online society so that when a person passes an automated informational message will be sent, perhaps with a message of the deceased’s choosing. That way the anonymity of the living is maintained but a final message is assured.
