I know the bills gotta be paid, the server space isn’t free, but I have to draw the line at auto-playing youtube ads. Could there be a a crowd-funded effort to remove them? How much would that run to keep the video adds off for a year? Ten years? (A serious thread with what looks like no other home.) ---

Not a good idea for a corporation to use a process like crowd-funding, which was designed to help those who couldn’t get funding through normal channels. Just ask Archie Comics, which was forced to cancel their recent crowd-funding campaign to fund a new line of comics due to bad feedback from fans. ---

Those paying an annual membership avoid ads. Cheap at $14.95 per year.
