Are you really claiming that general booing, which has happened many times in the history of this country during the SoU address, is comparable to a Representative shouting out “You lie!” ?
Really?

Heh. You’re right.
To start with black people overwhelmingly supported him at the ballot box. Race was the deciding factor with this vote and not politics. No other President in my lifetime had as little experience as Obama and would not have survived the Primaries. It was a mathematical skewing of the vote due to the percentage of black Democrats that put him on the national ballot. If he was white he would not have won the Primary.
So in summary, when white people vote it is based on intelligent consideration of the issues, and that for all of American history this has been 99.999% of the case that they are voting for other whites, but when blacks vote for a black candidate it is based on skin color and no other factor.
This sounds like a racist double standard to me.

From there it was a function of riding Bush’s unpopularity. McCain wasn’t seen as a strong candidate within his own party.
President Obama stepped into office with an agenda instead of addressing a serious economic crisis. he supported a pork bill intended to reduce unemployment and all it did was raise the level of debt. From there he supported a health care bill that affected businesses. His next project is to push increases in cap and trade taxes which will harm business.
Obama may be the face of it but it’s the Democratic Party that screwed the pooch on the economy.
Not to mention the white folks who voted Obama because he was black.
I’d be willing to bet that more whites voted for Obama because he was black that wouldn’t have otherwise (perhaps wouldn’t have voted at all), than whites who didn’t vote for him simply because he was black.

I didn’t mean to cut you off. I’m very pleased that you agree!

Didn’t the economy go into the tank before 2010? Or are we saying taht the econmoy would have recovered but for all the stuff that Obama did? If that’s the argument then why couldn’t I just as easily say that our economy would have been reduced to barter if Obama didn’t do what he did?

I’m wondering if any White President would have been heckled by a congressman while giving the State of the Union…
Yup. Cite.

I don’t think that article says what you think it says.
I’m not sure what you are claiming - that Bush was never President, that it didn’t happen during the State of the Union speech, that it didn’t come from Congress, or that Bush isn’t white.
Actually I know that you aren’t claiming anything - merely waving away evidence that you can’t refute.

Shodan
They didn’t accuse anyone of lying. They didn’t resort to namecalling.
And you gotta wonder about someone who’s ego requires that he “sign” every post like we can’t see his name at the top already.

I voted for him because he is intelligent, which is certainly a refreshing change from the last guy. I couldn’t care less what color his skin is.
I liked McCain in 2000, but he was too old IMO in 2008, and he had Eskimo Barbie as a running mate.

I’m merely alarmed that I used almost the exact phrasing as you.
Anyway, nothing more to say, really. Shodan has to either argue that an individual shouting “You lie!” is comparable to the traditional, generally accepted, occasional booing, or admit he was wrong.

Look up (Post 68). Now it’s **Damuri Ajashi’s **turn.

No he doesn’t. It’s Shodan.
Nope.
Hilary won the majority of the black vote in the early primaries, and the black political establishment was against Obama. They made a variety of public statements against him. Hilary won not just the New York State primary, but also the majority of the black vote in that primary. It was only when Obama proved that he could could get majorities of white support in states with few black people that the black primary voters got behind him.
That is completely false. 85% of black people voted for Obama in the Primary.
It’s absurd to claim that Obama didn’t make addressing the economic crisis a major part of his agenda when he took office. The only way you could have missed this is if you were in a coma.
Your entire post was bunk.
The “stimulus” bill was nothing but one huge earmark that did nothing to encourage businesses to hire people. In addition to this debt festival of failure The President: pushed for a health care bill that raises business costs, halted deep water drilling, and is pushing increases in cap and trade taxes which will further raise the cost to businesses.
And what about my reply to your post, hrrrm?
