When I saw the thread title,even before I read the OP, I said, “Sunk this low? You have no idea!” It turns out my first impulse was right. The other day, right-wing bombastard Dennis Miller introduced GWBush at a fundraiser. He echoed Drudge’s “their hands all over each other” shot, and followed it with “Get a room!” Bush reportedly was amused, and he didn’t chide Miller. At about the same time, Whoopi Goldberg, at a Demo fundraiser, made a sexual joke on Bush’s last name. Right-wingers organizers quickly put together a storm of emails and phone calls to Slim-Fast, who employs Whoopi as a spokesmodel. The next day, Goldberg was fired as the Slim-Fast gal.

By the way, if you don’t think Matt Drudge works for the right, you don’t understand the GOP smear machine. Many of the smears start in Drudge’s column, then they’re echoed within hours by Limbaugh, O’Reilly, Hannity, Safire, and Savage, as if they were fact.
