Apologies that I wasn’t clearer, squeegee. Tengu already mentioned the FF thing… as for Cloud, he’s the guy with the spiky blond hair and the enormous sword you may have seen around, and he was present in six foot tall cardboard cutout form wherever fine Playstation games were sold (for multiple months prior to release, and with the date tantalizingly printed on each aforementioned cutout).
I bought my X-Box solely because of Halo. I swear, if they pull some shit where they say it’s gonna be another year before it comes out, well, I’m going Halo on Bungie.
I can’t frigging wait for this game. Should we set up a new thread to get together online?
I could have done with out the Flood in H1 , but it may have been intragal to the story , but what they should have at least planned for , was a multi-player enviroment outside of the system link.
H2 addresses this , as well as adding some more functional weaponry. While I liked the game , there was a major disconnect in that you could get a 2X telescopic sight , on the pistol, but nothing on the combat rifle.
It was pretty sad ,when you could take down a hunter with the pistol, but get whupped if you tried it with the assault rifle. Now at least , you get some sort of skoda machine pistol, a 7.62 rifle , possibly the flame thrower (it was on the pc version) and the ability to use the hunters plasma cannon.
Now if they would only let me use nukes , I would be happy
I loathe the Flood. I really don’t understand how some people actually enjoyed that plot twist (nothing again them). The flood look like the byproduct of Master Chief’s bowel movement, and are about as smart as it too.
It was not so much the plot twist , but that I had no economical weaponry to deal with em. At least the covenant forces could be dealt with , with human weaponry, a lot of it , but still doable.
Its the one time , where I missed having the gatling gun from doom , nukem, or the nuclear mortar rounds from tribes.
