I’m of two minds about this. On the one hand, I understand that Trump dying might result in some net good for this country and the world at large. Of course, I lack even an infinitesimal fraction of the wisdom needed to make such a determination myself. On the other hand, if I was sick and found out that there were people, even complete strangers, wishing for my death, I’d be heartbroken. To know that there were people who thought so poorly of me that they’d rather I die would hurt my feelings, to say the least. For that reason, I can’t feel good about wishing for Trump’s death. Doesn’t make me a better person than those who do. ---
