**Firefly** - Me, I just took “Heart of Gold” to be some good dumb fun, and an homage to a standard Western theme. I did like that the gal actually shoots the bad guy in cold blood at the end, while holding his newborn baby no less. (Though I must take her to task for that - probably damaged the poor kid’s hearing.)
“Bushwhacked,” on the other hand, seems nonsensical and forced to me. Why does Mal know about the inner workings of the Reaver’s mind? It’s In The Script! I know people have said it’s a reflection of his own tragedies and attendant loss of humanity, but it really doesn’t work for me.

No idea, never really watched Star Trek. I just didn’t find DeLuise at all funny. I could tell I was _supposed_ to find him amusing (and not, as I did, infuriatingly annoying) but couldn’t actually bring myself to do it.

I got the feeling that Urgo was supposed to be infuriatingly annoying…of course, it was just a weak episode and so ranks as my least favorite too.

We’ll have to agree to disagree on this on, as **Bricker** said elsewhere. I think it one of the most emotional hours of TV ever. I can’t watch it again, mind you. Too close to home. But it was powerful TV.
\*\*Babylon 5 \*\* - _Grey 17 Is Missing_. Not only a bad episode, but one of the worst episodes of any show. It makes \*Spock’s Brain \* look elegant and sophisticated. :eek:

No, no, no…the worst Buffy episode is definitely _I Robot, You Jane_. Ugh.
Mind you, some of the dialogue was still great, but the plot? Just yucko.

The last episode is usually one I skip watching if it’s on in reruns. Also the India wedding/backwards episode. It did have one good line by George Costanza, “You can stuff your sorries in a sack mister!”
Any episode of **Frasier** where Niles and Daphne are recently an item and they’re still all Lovey-Dovey.

I will brook no disparagement of **Buffy** ’s S6 in my presence!
“Beer Bad” was generally poor but had some good bits, most of them broad comedy (like when Buffy deals with her issues by cracking Parker on the noggin). I also liked the idea that while Parker was something of a cad, he didn’t just abandon Willow when the others broke in. But I don’t feel the need to watch “I Was Made for You” ever again.
For something over a year I’d seen every episode of **Futurama** save two, “A Taste of Freedom” and “Spanish Fry.” When I finally did catch them, I found them disappointing, but upon rewatching they’re perfectly fine episodes (“Spanish Fry” in particular is pretty good). My expectations were simply too high.

**TNG** : “Wesley the incredibly clever boy hero” episodes.
Wesley saves the Captain’s life by figuring out how to get around the shield protecting a well.
Wesley thinks Data is really Lore; none of the “grown ups” believe him, and Picard even scolds him. (You’d think they would believe him, seeing as how he routinely saves their bacon). Later he beams Lore into space, saving the Enterprise from destruction by the Crystalline Entity.
Wesley shows up, singlehandedly recognizes Riker’s distress call which leads to Riker, Deanna and L’Waxana Troi getting rescued from the Ferengi. Gets promoted.
Wesley saves the entire ship from capture by avoiding drugs - err, I mean “an addictive game”; later makes out with Ashley Judd. Fucker.
Wesley’s Nanites science experiment evolves into a **new form of life**.
Wesley saves his Mom because he is so smart that he can create a vortex just by thinking about it, thereby elevating himself to a **higher plane of existence** where he can go time traveling with “The Traveler.” Barf.

Yeah, all the Wesley saves the Grumps eps are sick, too. But, how soon we forget _Shades of Grey_, the only-est ever CLIP EPISODE in all of Trek history (any series).

Star Trek TNG: Any episode centering around Troi and/or her mother, or Dr. Crusher.
Other specific eps:
Genesis: everybody de-evolves into a lower creature. Beam this one into the sun, please. (Gates McFadden directed this steaming pile of crap)
Masks: The ship is transformed into an ancient alien temple.
