But there’s also a difference between hater and cop-hater. A hater is someone who is always critical, who cannot feel happy for someone else. A cop-hater, on the other hand, is not juts someone who says bad things about cops. It’s an epithet used to say the person has contempt for cops in general.
The OP, as described, is not a cop-hater.
err, what’s the difference? Because I’ve seen it applied to people who have just said things about cops.
