And regarding the “Mr Beast Burger”, it’s amazing that he’s offering that. God knows, there’s _nowhere_ in America that one can buy a hamburger so good for him for solving that issue. ---

Heard of him, my understanding is he runs some sort of game show that I’d rather not watch. His face is one of the most punchable faces I’ve ever seen. ---

What I know about Mr. Beast: - His competition show is abusive and it should probably not be legal to do some of the things he’s done. - There are a lot of Mr. Beast food products at Target. - He tried to come up with a replacement for Lunchables, but his was much worse. - People are finding mold in Mr. Beast-branded food. I’m not going to waste my money on Mr. Beast’s food, but I think even without the mold issue, it’s probably not good-quality food. ---

As I understand it (from a friend of mine who is in those sort of marketing circles) Mr Beast’s “punchable” face is very much by design. He intentionally smiles and frames his face in the camera in a way that is meant to evoke an unsettling “uncanny valley” reaction. Presumably to drive conversation about how punchable his face is. ---

Heard of him, and seen a couple of videos. Most I (50+F) scroll past, but I was particularly interested by the one in which he lived in complete time isolation. I think I’ve watched 2-3 of his contest videos. ---

Vacuous self-promotion is both a talent and a skill. If you have both, and work diligently at it, you can go far and make bank. I can think of several prominent examples who put MrBeast in the shade. ---
