# Have (non special) election ads started near you?

Anti / Pro Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) ads started a couple of weeks ago (the anti ones started earlier, I think the pro ones started this week)

I don’t even live in WI (but most of my local TV stations are WI based) so the ads are extra annoying. I got took forward to a full year of these :rolleyes: (not sure when the house ads will start)

I saw my first ad for Ohio’s gubernatorial election in 2016, before the presidential election. (It was an ad against Richard Cordray, but it’s beginning to look like he’s not even getting in.)

I don’t watch tv or read local print, but I’ve been seeing some ads on Facebook and YouTube for the Ohio Republican gubernatorial primary. I think they’ve all been for Mary Taylor, running as a Trumpish candidate.

In Illinois, we’ve already had ads from candidates for next year’s election for governor for months.

Not only on TV have I seen Illinois Governor’s race ads, they’re all over YouTube as well as Facebook post. The tv ads have been mainly during Bears games

I’ve seen plenty of signs for city council elections happening next week, but I’m guessing you mean for 2018 contests. I don’t get subject to traditional TV and radio ads, though I saw plenty of internet ones for the last election, including for stupid things like college board of regents. Haven’t seen anything for 2018 yet.
