Have seroius attempts at "Hamster Power" been tried?

Not so! By the looks of this pic: Chipmunk Power!, serious efforts are being put into harvesting and expanding the vast untouched potential of chipmunk power.

Seriously, animals aren’t a good way to generate energy. You’ve got to feed them something, and it takes energy to grow grains. Despite what you heard in a certain sci-fi movie, you can’t keep feeding dead animals to live animals and use them as a power source.

What we need here is good data on hamster wheel torque, moment and RPM…

My son has a wheel for his hamster that measures miles travelled. The little guy logged a high of over 13 miles in one night, with an average of approx. 7 miles. Quite amazing.

I doubt if hamster’s could do better than morons.
