Since the 1970 merger, there’s been some minor divisional juggling, and one team (Seattle) switching conferences, but I don’t think a major change is likely.

Two teams actually, the Buccaneers were originally in the AFC and they swapped when Seattle swapped the first time. Seattle is the only team to move more than once as they have swapped twice.

Ah, good point, I’d forgotten about that; the Bucs and Seahawks swapped after their first seasons in the league (1976).
