Geesh this thread is still at it. The whole point of the thread is have we ran out of things to talk about, not who posts to who how many times and in which threads.
At one point, and please correct me Lynn if I’m wrong, it had been agreed upon that posters should try to keep their sig lines to two lines. I remember this topic being discussed about a year ago, so anyone joining after that time wouldn’t know about it.
As far as ‘honoring’ friends, what the hell does that have to do with participating in a message board? It’s wonderful that we have all the new people joining, that we are all making new friends. But face it people, we are here to have some fun, discuss some off the wall topics, as well as discuss some very serious issues. We don’t need to know who makes friends with who. I would hope that we would all be friends to a small certain extent.
We can sit here in the Pit and debate all this as much as we want, but take a look at the other forums. These people don’t even read the Pit so they have no idea what’s going on.
My only concern is that we don’t bog down the board so much that it gets to be tiring waiting for it to open.

I tend to get annoyed by posts that are less than ten words. Posts that simply say “Me too” with no extra information or anything anecdotal infortmation that relates to the OP.
And since I was talking about the posts I hate, let me make it utterly and undyingly clear that your opinion of my opinion, or anything I type in general, is meaningless to me, and to the discussion.
I appreciate the pedestrian attempt to make me look like a hypocrite, though. But since I never defined my idea of a “Me too” post, you have no basis for arguing that I fulfilled it.

I didn’t mean everyone. I meant Nymysys. She doesn’t like me; she’s made that clear time and again. And since I specifically targeted “cliques,” and we’ve argued about this before, I figured it was only a matter of time before she put in her HO.
I was completely ready to walk away from this thread; it seems to me that everything I was concerned about has been addressed and I’m satisfied. So after this post, I will do the same. I have nothing more to say about the OP, and I refuse to participate in the hijacking of this thread into a flame war.
