# Have you ever been glad that someone died?

My husband’s paternal grandmother and maternal grandfather died within a week of each other. Some people were sad to see Grandma go, even though she’d had serious dementia for years and diet not even recognizing her children.

Not a single tear was shed when Grandpa died. He was a stubborn racist abusive asshole who taught my husband the phrase “jungle bunny.” Oh - and fathered at least one child during an affair. Charming man.

I have one of those, and another where the husband will probably lead it.
