I knowing let some students copy off me during some tests in HS. Once in HS, I had this new erasable ink pen. I was curious so when I got a history test back I changed an answer to the correct version. (true/false section) While we went over the test I pointed out that the teacher made a mistake in the grading. He looked at it, shrugged his shoulders and gave me the extra two points. It didn’t change my grade, I already had an A on the test.
My biggest cheat was for religion class. I went to a Catholic HS and senior year we were supposed to keep these journels, that had a set of ‘questions to ponder’ we were supposed to do. I copied a friend’s book.
Oh I just remembered one.
Junior year, in Geometry class, we were told to write a paper. A PAPER! For Geometry?! Outrageous! I felt betrayed. I preferred math to verbal classes because we didn’t have to write papers. We were supposed to interview someone who used math in their career. So I didn’t do it.
I did however tell the teacher I did do it and that I left it on his desk after school.
He believed me. (hey, I was a good kid) and he accepted my ‘notes’ from my interview, which were a complete fabrication.
He accepted my notes.
