I suspect for many, this will come down to a matter of semantics , ie., technically do you eat a milksake, or do you drink one? ---

No. Well, yes. We all have undoubtedly ingested fecal matter at some point. Hell, we all may ingest fecal matter on a daily basis: human and otherwise. ---

A book I’ve mentioned many times on this Board, **End Product: The First Taboo** by Dan Sabbath, contains at least one account of this. No doubt there are others. End Product is an unbelievably odd book on the topic of feces. I’ve only ever seen the one copy, which I own. Does cow shit count? I’ve eaten magic mushrooms, which generally grow in cow dung. Of course, they were washed, but I’m sure there were some trace remnants in there (they certainly taste like shit). ---

The closest I ever came and it was never really close is when I shopped a local fruit market and noticed some globs on the raw beets. I thoroughly wash all my vegetables, but I expect to start with something that at least appears unpolluted. I have never purchased raw beets since. That’s all I got. Happy trolling. ---
