Wishing someone dead might seem like a waste of energy, but it’s one of the few activities you can do that eventually has a 100% success rate. ---

I have removed plenty of people from life support, but they were already brain dead. Supposedly. Most of them. I think. ---

And even that only holds if there was not something more important that prevented you from stopping them. And, even then, you’re nowhere near 100% responsible. Do the math, and I doubt you’ve killed even one whole person. ---

I’m fully on board with a woman’s right to choose, but from a practical perspective I cooperated moral support-wise, transportation-wise, and financially with supporting and funding two abortions, so yes I’m morally culpable in the killing of two human beings. I fought for one baby she intended to abort awhile we were married and she is my daughter today, I did not press the issue on the other two. People that might be alive today if I had fought for their lives, but I did not. ---

Came close once, years ago when an ex-bf hit me, hard, for no reason. The next thing I remember I was kneeling/bouncing on his chest holding a pillow over his face. He was turning blue and choking. Scared the crap out of me that I could snap like that and not even know what I was doing. ---

There’s no “maybe”… I did CPR on a knife victim…or attempted…I stopped after a few pumps realizing all I was doing was pushing more blood “out” instead of keeping heart circulating. ☹ A “Real RN” trained for that was there, was too drunk to care, nor were all the rest of the patrons particularly concerned…more interested in their beers and cocktails. :mad: The DJ was on break at the time and was the one that jumped in his car to get the license plate on the purp. I dunno if the guy survived, I left when the Paramedics came, and never went back. ---
