I was at a birthday party Saturday when this woman walked in that looked _just like_ Dexter’s mom from Dexter’s Lab. I mean it was scary how much she looked like her. Hair, face , butt - even down to her shoes. All she needed was rubber gloves. Have you ever met anyone that looked like a cartoon character? I don’t mean just funny looking in general (I would probably fall into that category) but a real resemblance to a “legit” cartoon character. ---

The vice-principal at my high school looked like Porky Pig. Seeing as how he was a right bastard, that’s what everyone called him, too. There’s a person I know these days (peripherally) who looks just like one of those big, dumb kids in _The Far Side_ – a little tubby, a little tuft of hair on the top of his head, little round glasses, no neck, and a clueless grin. ---

I once met a flight attendant that looked like Lady Elaine on _Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood_. I realize she is a puppet and not a cartoon character, but still it made me comment to my seatmates who agreed. Q ---

Maybe we watch too many cartoons around here, but I see cartoon characters everywhere. Most recently, these seems to be an influx of those little owl-looking people. These are mostly kids, but they do make the cutest little cartoon owls, the only thing they need to make the picture complete is a mortarboard. I saw this one kid a few weeks ago, he looked just like that rock monster that was on the Herculoids. ---

I worked with a guy that looked like he was a Simpsons character. Not any particular one - just the same shaped head, overbite, no chin, weird hair. And it was general concensus, too, not just me. ---

Everyone around the office has agreed that there’s one guy who not only looks like, but acts like and dresses like Ned Flanders from the Simpsons. I’ve even caught myself a few times about to call him Ned but correcting myself at the last second. ---

I worked with someone who looked like Ned Flanders. The most vicious epithet out of him was “Great googly moogly,” when working on LAN issues. I also worked with someone who looked like a Muppet - he looked exactly like New Zealand, the guy who throws the fishes and wears that harlequin costume. Except the guy I worked with wore glasses. New Zealand with glasses. ---

Taught a student who looked like a fraggle. No, not quite right, but somehow strangely familiar, but couldn’t put my finger on it for quite along time. Then one day I finally clicked – Spitting image of Sideshow Bob. With personality to match ---

When I was in university there ws a guy in our class who could have been Shaggy’s body double. He knew it himself and thought it was hilarious when we presented him with an ENORMOUS cuddly Scooby Doo for his 21st birthday!! ---

One of the directors at my work is the spitting image of Montgomery Burns. When the frowns, the wrinkles on his head looks like those score lines they use for musical notation. Even the older people at work privately refer to him as Mr Burns. Another character at work reminds us as Fozzie Bear, from The Muppets. He has similar features, plus whenever he makes a joke he makes a ridiculous pause waiting for laughter: “_Aaaaayyy?_” He just needs someone to make a rimshot sound. ---
