Oh, god. Many. Too many. All due to accidents. No surgeries. I am a klutz despite about 15 years of ballet and pointe. Gracefullness doesn’t work in real life for me. About the ugly baby? HYE looked at someone’s baby and decided it couldn’t belong to these people? ETA ninja’d, go ahead and answer the fish question. ---

Yes, back when I was married. She was travelling on business, and had been for some time, and though we spoke on the phone every other day, her birthday was on one of the off-days. I didn’t think about it, and didn’t call. So, the following day, I got a call asking me why I didn’t call on her birthday. Have you ever paddled a canoe? ---

Many times. I’ve never understood parents who say, “She looks just like her father,” when the baby looks like any other baby–especially when she does not (and never will) have her father’s beard. Maybe it’s because I’m not a parent. Have you ever sung along, even quietly, with the music at the supermarket? ---

Yes, when I was about 16, and what _I_ learned has helped tremendously with all the dogs I’ve had in the following decades. Have you ever tried to learn a foreign language after your school years?
