Yes, about twenty years ago by the local ABC affiliate. I witnessed my moron neighbor try to prevent the family pickup from being repo’ed. By jumping onto the hood of the wrecker. While wielding a hammer. While seven months pregnant. The wrecker driver hit the brakes, she fell off, only had some minor abrasions, but of course screamed that the driver tried to kill her child. Have you ever testified in court at a felony trial? ---

Well, I wasn’t prepared for the strength of the waves when I visited Los Angeles, and decided to take a dip in the ocean. Those things can be _strong_, and if you’ve never been in such big waves (I never had been), I suppose they are terrifying. Have you ever received a gift that made you wonder, “Why would _that_ person think I’d like to have _this_?” ---

Yep. Every year of my marriage my in laws gave me a sweater for xmas. They never saw me wear a sweater, indeed they never saw me wear the sweaters they gave me because I _do not wear sweaters_. The first sweater I just blew off as a fluke. The second xmas I chuckled. By year three I realized I was fucked. Twenty sweaters, new in box, never worn. HYE run as fast as you could through a busy airport? ---

Yes. I had to sprint through O’Hare and just made my connection. I had a job interview over a weekend on the West Coast and was supposed to catch a Sunday 7 PM flight so I could get home to the East Coast in time to show up at work on Monday morning (my boss didn’t know). Yes. I found a garter snake once, and picked it up. It promptly bit me. Garter snakes are not venomous, and they don’t have a lot in the way of teeth, so I wasn’t harmed. I did, however, drop the snake, which slithered away. Have you ever walked out of a movie? ---
