Yes. After outpatient surgery, I left the hospital groggy from the anaesthesia, and unable to drive. Thankfully, my (now-ex) wife was there to drive me home and to get me in the house. I had a prescription, that she got for me at the drugstore–it was a pretty powerful painkiller, and left me still groggy, so she looked after me for a couple of days. Not a fun time, being that helpless. Have you ever fallen asleep in front of a fire in the fireplace? ---

Yes! My trick is to enjoy the fact that I will be slowly feeling progressively better as the day goes on, as opposed to the non-hungovered who will slowly tire out as the day devolves. Have you ever gone a year _without_ a single hangover? ---

Flight from Portland to Kansas City, MO-two pieces of luggage lost. They went to San Diego, but I got a call two days later to come pick them up at the airport. The problem is that the call came from LaGuardia Airport in New York. Google maps? Lost many times not using them, and lost 1/2 as many times using them. HYE picked up a hitchhiker and gotten a bad experience? ---

Several times but my favorite was a tour of the [Russell Stover](https://www.russellstover.com/) factory. I got a free Whitman’s sampler box plus we were each able to select a couple of packages from a big rack of factory seconds. That was some of the ugliest cashew brittle I ever saw but I didn’t begin to care about it’s appearance. It was gonna look a lot worse when I was finished with it. HYE tried to save money by purchasing factory reject products with purely cosmetic flaws? ---

Yes, all the time. I have bought factory-reject clothes from discount stores, scratch and dent appliances, and even an aluminum shed that was discounted just because the box was damaged. HYE fallen more than 6 feet down? ---

Kinda sorta. I was in a car accident once, and a passenger in the other car decided she needed a doctor. But since both cars were driveable, and she was alert and walking around outside the car; the police officer who attended helpfully suggested that rather than an ambulance, there was a walk-in clinic a block away. So that’s where she went to see a doctor. Have you ever performed a card trick? ---

I think I did once! You know, for kids. Little Moe is a card trick that uses every card in the deck. My dad very closely watched a bartender on the _Delta Queen_ do it; the bartender wouldn’t explain it or reveal the trick, but my dad eventually figured it out. HYE known a guy named Moe?
