Yes, I’ve seen many. I sat out on the verandah of our house in Calgary, smoking my pipe, and watching the auroras shape-shift. Between my pipe and the auroras, it was oddly calming. Have you ever smoked a pipe? ---

Not me, but my ex-wife. We were vacationing and staying at a nice hotel, and when we came back late one evening, I suggested a nightcap in the hotel bar. I had a Maker’s Mark on the rocks–not something I’d typically drink at our local pub–and my wife wanted “something special” too. The waitress suggested a Cosmopolitan, so my wife ordered it. She had never had one before, but she liked it. Have you ever had a drink of Bourbon straight, or “Bourbon and branch” or on the rocks? ---

Of course. (I cannot think of an alcoholic offering I haven’t tried). We have a bottle of Makers Mark I recieved as a gift. I occasionally have a few shots up or on the rocks. HYE done a shot of tequila with the traditional salt and citrus? ---

Actually, yes. A friend and I used to rent ourselves out for Christmas parties, wedding receptions, and similar; back when I did my undergrad. Tending bar was a nice boost to my bank account, especially since I was a student. Have you ever dated a person you met at a college/university mixer? ---

Yes, I dated at least two men I met at graduate school events, which surely should count as university mixers. Have you ever used any type of mechanical mixer: hand mixer or stand mixer, paint mixer, cement mixer or any other? ---

Yes, all that you listed. I was into cement a few years ago and mixed up a bunch of it with a drill attachment and made cement planters. I used a giant food mixer in a commercial kitchen for pancake batter for a pancake breakfast fund raiser. That thing was scary. HYE cooked on a flat-top grill for a lot of people? ---

Yes, when I was a new driver on the Meadowbrook Parkway on Long Island, I came up to a “right lane ends” sign and then suddenly it did end, just a few feet ahead. I was paralyzed with shock and fear and my fiance had to grab the steering wheel and pull us over.
