# Have you experienced these reading/writing difficulties?

I learned cursive by copying my older sister’s writing. To this day, I draw the cursive capital I counter-clockwise instead of the intended clockwise.

My other handwriting problems include

- way too small. (One grade-school teacher fixed this; I think it was different one than she who fixed my left-handedness.)
- illegibility. My r’s and v’s look identical, meaning I sometimes have trouble interpreting a math formula I wrote myself minutes earlier. :smack:

My big problem these days is writing homophones. Not just the obvious “their” for “there” but mismatches as bizarre as “values” for “vowels”. (I caught that one previewing an SDMB post.)
