Christmas is only a week away - have you finished your shopping? Mine is all done, except for the lottery tickets that I buy my mother every year. I get her 100 dollars worth of tickets. I usually try to get them at an off hour so that the clerk doesn’t have to deal with me and a lot of other customers at the same time. I’ve been too lazy to go in late at night so far. ---

My wife and I work off lists. There’s some cookware-related items I haven’t gotten her, but I hate buying that kind of stuff for Christmas. Otherwise, I’m done. ---

I only shop for my son and the main bulk of that was done by the end of November. Now I just go out to the stores and if I see a stocking stuffer or something I think he would like I’ll just pick it up. ---

Yes, and so of course my 5-yo daughter announced that what she really, truly wants for Christmas is roller skates, which I have not bought. ---

Yup, all my shopping’s done. This year I tried to do as much as possible online or way before the “shopping season” started. I’m still headed out to the mall this week to help a friend get her shopping done, though. I’m not looking forward to the crowds, but I enjoy helping out. ---

For the first time in about three years I was able to ship gifts home for Christmas without having to spring for 2-day shipping. I do need to go grab a DVD for the hubby from Best Buy, but that’s no big deal. I sigh with contentment every time I realize that those packages are safely underway and due to arrive Wednesday. ---

amazingly enough, i’m halfway done, normally i _start_ about now, got gifts for Dad (who is _impossible_ to buy for), my sis and her husband, and my nephew, just need to get gifts for Mom and my neice ---

The only things we still need are a gift card for our oldest daughter (Best Buy) and a gift card for my in-laws (gas), both of which hubby will get while he’s working down in Baltimore this week. There is no Best Buy in Cumberland (not that I’m complaining about that; it’s just where she wants a gift card from), and the in-laws live down there, so it makes more sense to give them a card from a station near them. Now, I have to get busy _wrapping_ everything we bought over the weekend! ---

I still have to buy a gift for my mom, and a stocking gift for my niece. I know exactly what I am getting each of them, it’s just a matter of getting myself to the mall. The good thing is, the mall is literally a minute away, and it’s open until 11 pm. Susan ---

All done! Just got the last of the stocking stuffers yesterday. It’s really easy for us though. A few things for each of the girls and we’re set. We don’t buy gifts for adults in this family and for that I’m thankful! ---

I’ve been done for a while, except for candy for the stockings, which I will be buying tomorrow morning. Everything is wrapped, too. Since I have two kids and sixteen niecephews to shop for, it feels reeeeeeeal good to be finished. ---

Nope. Still have to get my son his Guitar Hero game and a new CD player, have to get the Sister In Law her Secret Santa Gift, have to get the Brother In Law HIS Secret Santa gift (my husband and I got his sister and brother in law :rolleyes: ), have to figure out what to get for his mom and buy it, have to get Chili Contest Participant presents, and if I happen to see something Mr2U might like during all this, I’ll get it for him too although he already has some stuff…oh - and I have to buy Dog2U’s presents. I HATE the holidays… ---
