Back in the 1990’s, former yugoslavia, before current marriage, one of my brothers had a sniper in his band that looked like he stepped off a Hollywood set for making a war movie, not real life. Absolutely gorgeous, eyes like the ocean, body like a Greek statue. I use to flirt with him. Heck, I use to date him. He was barely sixteen years old. ---

In my defence, she flirted with me first, it never went beyond making eyes at eachother, and her parents thought it was cute and didn’t mind at all. ---

It’s happened a few times when I was single. One of them was a guy who I _knew_ was … er … monogamously impaired. But I didn’t care and I went for it (and got it… and then he got someone else… etc.) I’ve also flirted with one of my college friend’s girlfriends (he was male, she was “bi-curious”) and it ended up breaking them up, because she wanted to give girls a try… and he didn’t want her sleeping with people (male or female) other than him. That was a mess. Now we’re friends on Facebook, all of us, and laugh about how dumb we were then. ---

While I’m sure you believe it when you say that I “know what other posters will assume”, I’m afraid there have been very few times in my life where someone who has felt the need to say “you know what you did” or the equivalent has been correct about that. I would appreciate it if you didn’t overestimate my psychic powers. I responded in earnest in response to the question posed by the title, and in the process of describing it, explained both what limits the encounter operated under, and I acknowledged that I shouldn’t have done what I did (exchange looks and smiles). I fail to see any ambiguety in my post that would leave room for the “assumptions” you seem to think I know people are going to make. ---
