# Have you seen a Vista Antispyware 2012 popup while viewing the SDMB?

Put me down for “maybe.”

Last night I clicked the link to DT news in [this post](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=14085938&postcount=8) and instead of the link opening in a new window as it usually does, the SD page itself became the whole pretend virus scan thing that will install malware if you click to close it.

Unfortunately, I didn’t realize until now you were looking for photos, so I just used the task manager to kill IE before it could install anything on my computer.
