# Have you used niggardly in conversation?

I responded to the America, know it, shouldn’t use it, but that is not the correct response. Unfortunately, most of the people I talk with on a daily basis would not know the definition of the word and I would have to explain. It gets tiresome having to explain words to people, so I have limited my vocabulary to the level I expect the person I am talking with to understand. I still miss it at least once a week. I really never thought of a racial response to niggardly because I know the definition, but now I guess I really won’t use it. Not because of the “HUH” look but because I might offend someone with a smaller vocabulary than mine.
