# Hawaiian Independence/Restoration of Kingdom

Has Cecil or any of the other dispensers of knowledge 'round here ever addressed what I’ve heard called both the Hawaiian Independence Movement or the movement to restore the Hawaiian Kingdom?

There’s been discussion at the UN, verdicts at The Hague and whatnot but I can’t figure out if the natives are rightfully pursuing justice or just pissed off that they got screwed on a real estate deal.

(If I missed this being addressed already it’s not for lack of looking - all apologies)

You might check with UNPO, the Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organisation.  
They have information on the Hawaiian Independence Movement and as I remember they even have their flag displayed (along with other nations seeking independence.)
