I probably should make that Anglo-Poly-Asian culture.
Hijack is fine with me! I find the conversation interesting. I lived in Berlin for 14 years while the Wall was up, and if you are geographically challenged, that meant living in the middle of East Germany in a city (island) that was completely surrounded by a wall and armed guards. A lot of people could not handle it and left after a short time. It didn’t bother me a bit. Of course, I also lived in Manhattan for 2 years and never once left that island either…not even over the Brooklyn Bridge!
Glad to hear you like Las Vegas…it is a great city and I love the heat, the dynamics and the affordability. This weekend is jammed full of tourists, Bellagio announced a new addition of 945 rooms to be built in the next year and 7000 people move here every MONTH! (They don’t like to admit that 3000 move AWAY every month, but that is still a net gain of 4000 per month. Still, this makes it the fastest growing city in the USA).
One last question for the (native) Hawaiians…how has statehood changed the Islands - for better of for worse?
(I’m just full of questions, I bet you Hawaiians can’t wait until I arrive and ask them personally…)
