Yes, it’s much better to believe that social problems should be solved by charity rather than taxes, but then admit that you don’t ever donate to charities! A philosophy that we can only thank Og that everyone does not subscribe to. ---

I agree with you. You, at your age, at least show maturity beyond your years. But some post and, when you find out how young they are, you really aren’t all that surprised. With you I was surprised. With Vox, I wasn’t\* \*I might actually be wrong. He may be 14. He’s either 14 or 15, I forget which and I’m too lazy to look it up right now. But for anyone who cares, just search the term “youngest” in MPSIMS and find the “Am I the youngest person?” thread. ---

When, for example, people get screwed out of a chance to make a decent and honest living because a few folks find that it is in their own economic best interest to perform the screwing aforesaid, then we have a problem that can be addressed only by society’s enforcement arm, Government. ---
