The 1984 remake of the 1942 film Cat People at least had a somewhat understandable sexual element, whereas in the Hayes Code version it was so buried in subtext it was hard to figure out exactly what was going on. And the remake has a gorgeously sensuous Nastassia Kinski and a wonderful New Orleans steamy locale. But the 1984 director Paul Schrader was a poor director, his story kind of wandered aimlessly, whereas the 1942 team of Val Lawton and Jacques Tournier were brilliant. So … kind of a draw. If Lawton and Tournier had had the same kind of freedom Schrader had, they would undoubtedly have made a film that would have made Shraders’ work more transparently bad. Or even if they had had a tiny portion of Schraders’ budget. But they didn’t, and it hurt the original.

Hays Code didn’t end until 1968. So that covers just about any classic movie.
There’s a dozen or so pre-hayes code movies with sound out on dvd. Some have a quick topless shot or suggestive dialog. not even pg-13 by todays standards.
