# Hazards of nasal spray?

Thank you for the correction, **Qadgop**. (In my defense, I was talking about events that transpired in the early-to-mid 50’s, down in GTMO Bay.)

After posting that erroneous information, I wondered if it was neosynephrine that the doctor was adamant about. Is that bad stuff,and is it available in OTC nasal sprays?

Yes, neo-synephrine is a common nasal spray ingredient. It has the same drawbacks as oxymetalazine (Afrin).
