But all those questions give us (relative) newbies a reason to answer! Though, most of us ( I would hope), will give innocuous answers. In the Real World the OP would take what we answered and then ask questions to draw further and more in-depth answers from while sharing a scintillating and maybe titillating bit of feedback. Feedback being the key. ( I want a superior overlord… to fix all that is broken nowadays and the next 50 to 250 years.) My breath isn’t held. ---

I thought he was writing articles or something: “The 10 worst wedding blunders.” That was the only thread I replied to. I guess when you think about it, though, coming here to do that is a little like coming her to ask for homework help. I won’t reply to any more of his threads. ---

You would have to be stupid to reply to any of the threads the OP mentioned. I did reply to his “Check your SDMB password” thread however. ETA. By the way I think he is one of the best posters on this board. ---

He’s either a phisher (which seems a little unlikely, given the small net he’s trawling with) or a listicle writer. I’d bet that somewhere out there is Ten Hot Tips for Net List Writers that suggests or encourages this “mining” technique. ---

I just replied in one of his threads without realizing it. :smack: We need the 2nd poster in such threads to post an “ALERT!” message in big red letters with a link to this thread. (Or have the mods do something.) ---

Well snot. I just popped my SDMB cherry on one of his threads. The worst birthday one! Did my years of lurking not teach me anything? Why is the first time always an anticlimactic disappointment? Oh well… if it gets cornfielded, then no one will ever know I was here and I go back to being a shadow person. 🆒 ---

Yeah, I replied to one asking **Hbk** to refute that he/she is a quizbot of some sort. It is curious and I do wonder if It is a bot, harvesting info for some other click bait site. Not even offering a reply seems more than simple awkward. Now, let’s see **Hbk** start replying and presenting themselves as a cute wheelchair person. Wearing pyjama bottoms. And offering to answer questions about being an escort. Sigh. ---
