# He Bit the HEAD Off a BUNNY?!

I’m not sure about all the details about this, as I’m trying to recall a story I heard as a kid, so forgive me…
But one of my relatives was on some kind of elite military team…I don’t know if it was in the Marines or the Army…during the Vietnam war. I do remember him telling me about his training, though: During training (this was specialized training, not basic recruit training) everyone was given a live bunny rabbit. They had to name the rabbit, and it was their responsiblity to feed it and keep it alive. Letting your rabbit die was a major no-no.
As the weeks went on, they all got used to caring for their rabbits, and attatched to them, etc.
Which made the last day difficult, as their final test was they had to kill their own rabbit using only their bare hands. This was to test their killer instinct. I believe this story to be true, as this particular relative was not prone to bullshitting.
How this relates to this thread I don’t know.😃
But it is just a wabbit for God’s sake. What’s all the hub-bub…bub?

I agree. While it’s gross, it’s still just a rabbit. I’ll bet some of the people who are so pissed about this have no problems with abortion, which I find strange. Peoples priorities are really fucked up. These guys are going to prison for killing a rabbit? Stupid!

Besides the obvious question of how a decapitated rabbit screams, big fucking deal. Lots of things kick when they die, it’s quite natural. The wrestler is creepy, and I think it is gross, but a felony? Not in my book. Like **Miller** said, people have been eating rabbit for a long long time. (It is quite good for you, almost 0% fat, we’d all be better off eating a lot less chicken and more rabbit) I’d save my moral outrage and limited prison space for something else, but YMMV.

I find it kinda hard to be outraged by this. I mean, people eat rabbits, and decapitatation is a relatively quick death (Especially if you snap/sever the neck quickly). If the guy had used a hatchet or the like to cut off its head, I doubt anyone would have heard of this.
Rubbing the blood on himself like that is definatly, um… Odd. Then again, he was supposedly drunk, too (And this illustrates one of the reasons I do not drink. I can only imagine what kind of things I’d do with loosened inhibitions, I’ve got a kinda twisted mind myself…).
Weird, sure, but it really seems more of a “big deal” kind of thing…
