On tv, there’s an employee who calls everybody, including men, “Honey”. I can’t remember the characters name. Anyone know who I’m talking about? BTW; Some time back I started a thread asking who might have heard a man irl do this, as I’ve known two or three who did. It was only for friends and family. Okay… I currently have about 30 threads open, and this has suddenly become the most intriguing… Someone here has a guy friend who calls him “Honey” because he did a bad, bad thing? (C’mon, you can tell _us_…) ---

I just can’t let a King of the Hill question go unanswered. There’s an episode where Bobby and Hank form a propane-related sketch comedy act. Joe Jack (wearing a giant diaper) plays Big Baby, whose big finish is to fart and say “Baby did a bad, bad thing.” ---

Jim occasionally calls Huck “honey” in _Huckleberry Finn_, so it isn’t that new. I’ll leave it up to you whether it’s that _gay_, though. ---

I remember when I was young and in a brand new relationship and still walking around in a lust fog I’d sometimes have a slip of the tongue and call someone other than her, man or woman, “honey”. And I _know_ I know I’m not the guy to do so. ---
