…says the guy who is always wrong.
Are those my only two options? Because I was really hoping to be critical of Obama when he does things I don’t like that are actually important, and to not give a shit about piddling nonsense like this.
This “bending over backwards” thing of which you speak? Any chance you could demonstrate how it is done?
There is nothing I can add to this statement.
Without a doubt he can. How else could he get his head that far up his own ass.
Oh, no! Poor people might some day be able to get medical treatment…based on a SORT-OF FAULTY PREMISE!!! AAAAAAAHHHH!!!
No need. Obama will declare martial law and name himself king long before that.
I choose to live in the hypothetical world. Its nicer here.
I personally would like to thank adaher for creating threads such as this, the hilarity herein is stunning and awesome. Never, ever, put away your three-colored hat with the little bells hanging from its arched and dangling points.
So… in the middle of a tightly-contested political race, one of the candidates chose a stance specifically so he would be differentiated from his opponent?
Okay.
I don’t even care about whether Obama lied or not in his original opposition (well, I care, but not for this post).
What I want to know is how you go from “he lied about this issue” to “everything his says can be assumed to be a lie”.
I’ve lied before, particularly when it might advantage me. Or when then truth might do more harm. But that doesn’t mean that I always lie, or even always lie about the issues I’ve lied about in the past.
So even if you’re right on the facts (which, quite frankly, is somewhat unlikely based on past results), it’s still a bullshit OP.
Yeah, politicians do that. So does everyone else .
We’re not laughing with you, we’re laughing at you.
What are you talking about? The memo is linked in the article, and was written by an administration staffer (not “to an administration supporter”). As far as outdated, it’s more recent than the comments he made during the campaign which your whole OP is based on.
Look folks. In the past, adaher would not admit his error when confronted by* factual statistical data* that conclusively proved he was wrong.
He’s not going to back down, just because he is absolutely wrong. Being wrong just makes him more determined to argue his point. He’s the terminator of wrongitude. He Just. Won’t. Stop.
I find it easier to think “he’s a politician everything he says can be assumed to be a lie.” That way you don’t have to worry about parties and such and go about your business.
I’m never one to miss something like that. Link?
Maybe he did change his mind. So? You want a President who never changes his mind, ever?
Only Republican presidents are allowed to change their minds!
See every poll in the last election. Every one that showed the Dems ahead was wrong for some obscure reason according to adaher.
adaher literally disappeared from the boards for months and months after President Romney conceded the election because of all the liberally skewed election results.
I called him out on it the minute I saw him return, and he basically just said “well I always said I might be wrong” or something like that.
Here’s a picture of Obama at the beach. I want everybody to take a real close look at that photo. Notice that you can’t see his feet. The photo op was carefully timed so that his footwear is hidden.
That’s right, it’s just one more case of Obama trying to hide his flip flops.
